Finished and Photographed

Today Mr. Sun came out and I was able to pin these to the deck railing and snap some pictures!

The first one is a baby quilt made from scraps left-over from a recent quilt. It measures just 41 inches square and was made from large log cabin blocks cut into 4 pieces each, rearranged and sewn back together.

This is the "Sunlight on Water" quilt, in the SUN!
It measures 47" by 60".
I wish I were sitting on it on a sandy sunny beach somewhere right now!

Sunlight on Water quilt

Quilting on my "Sunlight on Water" quilt this morning. This top was made years ago, and has reached the quilting frame, finally.  I quilted waves into it… thinking that was appropriate for the design.

I have yet to add the binding.
(There are 3 quilted quilts in my "to bind" stack now.)

Today it would be more fitting to name a quilt "Sunlight on Snow" - we have a pretty blue sky with sun on our cold white snow.  Spring will come.

It measures 36" square.

Happy New Year

I am back to work now, so the quilting is taking a back seat again… but I wanted to put on the last 2 quilts I finished up. Both in gray and orange with foxes. The second is symbolic of a fox totem.

May your New Year be blessed!
