Crazy Quilt Collage

Just finished this 5x7 crazy quilt collage. It has a charming quote, “Life is not measured by the breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.” How true!!

What are your most breath-taking moments?

The quote is great, Cat. It makes you stop and think. And sunrises have always taken my breath away. The gift of a new day, new hope, new beginnings.

What a wonderful sentiment... love the piece very much too! Hummm... many, many of those moments in my life, but I can think of the time I saw hundreds of dolphins frolicking in Malibu... They just came out of no where and they were so much fun to watch. Now that took my breath away!

Hope you're having a great weekend!

The most breath-taking moment I think ,was when my first daughter just was born.

Now, most high waterfalls are breathtaking for me.

This is a Sweet Quilt and I do love the quote

I have to give this Breath Taking Moment some thought...being surrounded by WORK at the moment...I can't think my way thru the mess to recall anything wonderful at the moment.

But I love having something to chew on like this while I tackle the pile !Thanks.

BREATH TAKING !

Beyond anything I had imagined....

(the hike OUT actually DID take my breath away..but that is another story)

This is my most favorite quote. My breathtaking moment.... when my children were born... and a very simple low key one... a string quartet concert in my school's gym. They were sitting on folding chairs playing for 120 kindergarten - sixth graders...simply took my breath away...and brought tears to my eyes...it was difficult for me to keep my composure.

From Joy: Another breathtaking crazy quilt!! It is beautiful as all your handwork is. Did you crochet the little circles near the top and bottom? Hope your back is ready for a weekend of Harley riding and you have wonderful weather.

You don't live near the wildfire
in Utah that I saw on the news, do you.
